In the past 100 years, the CPC has traveled an extraordinary journey, and has remained true to its original aspira-tion and founding mission. During the year witnesses the centenary of the Communist Party of China, we should renew the spirit of the first revolutionary base in Jinggang Mountains. It’s convin-ced that the glory of faith, the magni-ficent chapter of the endeavors, and the tremendous power of the people will be even firmer and more moving.
井冈山是中国革命的摇篮。回首井冈山时期，从近5万名革命烈士为了坚定执着的理想信念献出宝贵生命，到把马克思主义普遍真理同中国革命具体实践紧密结合、提出“以农村为中心”的革命道路思想；从我们党领导人民不畏强敌、不畏艰难开辟第一个农村革命根据地，到我们党一开始就把“做群众工作”作为红军的三大任务之一，形成鱼水相依、血肉相连的党群关系、军民关系。
Jinggangshan is known as the cradle of the Chinese revolution. Looking back at the revolutionary period in Jinggangshan, more than 48,000 revolutionary martyrs have sacrificed their precious lives for their persistent ideals and beliefs. When closely adapting the basic tenets of Marxism to the China’s realities, the Party put forward the countryside-centered revolu-tionary ideology. What’s more, our Party not only led the people to establish the first rural revolutionary base area without fear of brutal enemies and difficulties, but also took "working for the people" as one of the three major tasks at the beginning, thus forming the firmer Party’s engagement with people and a closer relationship between the army and the people.
井冈山时期留给我们最为宝贵的财富，就是跨越时空的井冈山精神。井冈山精神，最重要的方面就是坚定信念、艰苦奋斗，实事求是、敢闯新路，依靠群众、勇于胜利。
During the period in Jinggangshan, the most precious treasures left to us are the Jinggangshan Spirit across time and space. Standing firm in our ideals and convictions, working hard, seeking truth from facts, pioneering with unpre-cedented motivation, keeping reliant on the people and fighting for victories underlie the most important parts of the spirit.
井冈山斗争的伟大实践，对中国革命道路的探索和抉择，对中国共产党和人民军队的成为具有关键意义。时至今日，井冈山精神依然在放射出新的时代光芒。
The great practice of Jinggang-shan struggle is of key significance to the exploration and choice of the Chinese revolutionary road and the development of the Communist Party of China and the people's armed forces. By far, the Jinggangshan Spirit still has continued to emanate its brilliant ray of time.
习习习习习近平总书记曾深刻指出，“回望过往的奋斗路，眺望前方的奋进路，我们必须把党的历史学习好、总结好，把党的成功经验传承好、发扬好。”

This country is its people; the people are the country. We should carry forward the Great Founding Spirit and inherit the Jinggangshan Spirit. What’s more, it’s our duties to dedicate ourselves to doing solid work with confidence, determination, and an indomitable spirit of persistence, so that achievements that are worthy of the Party, the people, and history can be created!
